Here at Settle we are looking for a Voids Homes and Maintenance Partner for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to administer the efficient, value for money delivery of a high-quality empty property service to meet the individual needs of settle’s’ tenants and leaseholders. Working collaboratively with colleagues from across the business, the post holder will be responsible in achieving continuous improvement of the empty property service and providing technical advice relating to operational management of the property portfolio. In addition, you will lead and manage a team of operatives and monitor the performance of contractors.
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
- Lead, line manage, motivate and inspire a team delivering an empty property service, evaluate and improve team performance in line with service targets
- Control and monitor income and expenditure to ensure best value repairs are being ordered.
- Ensure that all issues in respect of health and safety and customer service standards are appropriately dealt with.
- To have a good understanding of HHSRS.
You will also:
- Undertake all appropriate instructions and tasks with due diligence
- To promote the development of a culture of customer satisfaction, right first time and continuous improvement.
- To undertake resource planning and prioritisation to ensure work is carried out within agreed timescales
- Ensure appropriate filing, records and databases are updated particularly in respect of the Housing Management System
- To investigate and respond to complaints and enquires in accordance with service standards
- To ensure team members have the necessary training, experience to carry out their duties
- To conduct team meetings, 1:1 & end of year supervision sessions.

Experienced in managing a team
Full clean UK driving licence
Able to:
- be a professional in the housing sector by aiming towards and achieving professional development through the chartered institute of housing
- Take part in manager out of hours standby scheme if required
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Work as part of a multi-functional team
- Provide support to and cover for other managers as required
- Ensure equality and diversity is positively valued throughout the team
- Carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by management
- Actively comply with and apply all settle’s policies
