Neighbourhood Coach - fixed term contract
At Settle, we are looking for two Neighbourhood Coaches to join our team on fixed-term contracts – one for up to 6 months, and the other as a maternity cover for up to 12 months. You will be responsible for neighbourhood, tenancy support and community safety housing services across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and South Cambridgeshire, coaching your team to deliver basically brilliant service

We are looking for someone who has experience in multiple housing disciplines and who is adept at managing a busy operational workload and supporting their team to achieve KPI targets. You will work closely and collaboratively with operational teams and coach your team to improve their customer service skills, housing knowledge and ability to drive services – acting as a conduit between the resident and the organisation. You will be committed to sustaining tenancies and improving resident satisfaction.
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
- coach and lead a team of neighbourhood, tenancy support and community safety partners, providing real time feedback and supporting their development including relevant legislative changes.
- coach and support your team to resolve ASB, domestic abuse, fraud, access and other legislative/tenancy matters
- work collaboratively with key services including the customer service hub, customer resolution and estate services to improve home and estate standards
- support residents in need of enhanced housing and support services through effective case monitoring
- build relationships to ensure effective partnership working
- ensure your team seek early interventions to improve resident behaviour where required
- complete regular casework reviews, coaching and supporting your team to resolve enquiries effectively
- attend the complex case panel, supporting team referrals
- obtain legal advice/refer cases to solicitors where required
- report on performance/action plan for improvement areas
- lead the team to consistently deliver effortless resident experience, seeking improvements to reduce effort output
- investigate and respond to councillor and MP enquiries and respond to complaints in line with the ombudsman code
We are looking for someone who has...
- A proven ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach
- be collaborative, empowering and engage effectively with colleagues. This will require visibility, determination and an open and honest approach in all that you do
- create a coaching first culture by showing the team the benefits of owning their development journey
- strong neighbourhood management experience across tenures and in housing, ASB and tenancy support services, including experience working with vulnerable customers.
- a passion and commitment to providing great customer service and a high-performance culture
- a flexible approach to providing services and able to work on your own initiative with a minimum supervision
- excellent time management skills and resilience to managing difficult situations, coping well under pressure
- UK Driving licence and access to vehicle for work

Our Future
